  2. Scanner for Computer

I'd like to scan barcodes using my computer webcam. Can we get a version for Mac/PC?

  3. Have an option to enter additional information between configuration steps.

Be able to add text to specific step in configuration at the time of scan.
Example: BARCODE , TAB, custom text as a popup , TAB , RETURN.
This would enable the ability to populate a database for inventory. Scan a barcode and enter quantity.

  4. Actually emulate a return keypress on the keyboard rather than add \n\r as text to the barcode.

It would be good if the keyboard wedge actually emulated the return keypress when <newline> is added to the config, rather than just adding \n\r as text to the barcode.

    I've tried an actual return...

    i.e.
    (<barcode>
    )

...but that just adds an A to the end of the barcode.

  5. Pause feature

Use configuration to add the ability to PAUSE or REST between commands.

  6. Optimize speed by disabling support for symbology that are not needed at the moment

Provide a configuration tab where users can disable symbologies that are not needed for the current task. For example, if I am scanning 1D barcodes, not supporting PDF417 / QR code could speed up the barcode decoding. this can also make use of the QCC feature to configure scanalyzer from one optimized profile to another.

  9. Scan for Windows Tablet using Tablet Camera and send data to excel or database

I think it would be very useful and practical if the windows tablets could scan barcodes and it send information to a database, excel spreadsheet or somewhere. After all the professional world uses more windows than mac and tablets are the next big thing regardless of operating system.

  13. have option to start at the 1st row of the next column. I would literally be the happiest person in the world

So in available actions you could press a button and it would automatically shift to the next column (a google sheet on a laptop for example) so you could scan lets say a unique container followed by all the items put inside it...then rinse and repeat. IT WOULD BE AMAZING.
